Christine V. Bullen

Ms.Bullen is the coordinator for a four course concentration in IT outsourcing in the MSIS and MBA degree programs. She is also investigating the impact of sourcing on the IT workforce and developing a related model for workforce deployment. Recently, Ms. Bullen led several research projects: the impact of implementing Enterprise Resource Planning Systems; and investigating
pharmaceutical data management systems. She collaborated in research regarding stereotypes about computer professionals. She also led studies on collaborative tools which facilitate the work of teams; critical issues in competitive use of networking; effective knowledge management; and valuing business processes. She has conducted research concerning the impacts of information systems, including networking, computer conferencing, and advanced workstation design; strategic alignment of I/T with business directions; outsourcing; career path issues for I/S professionals; and the design and implementation of distributed processing. In partnership with Jack Rockart, Ms. Bullen developed the critical success factor concept and method.
