Mike is a results-driven Senior IT Executive with extensive experience leading technology-based, multi-million dollar revenue and growth initiatives grounded solidly on business and economic value. He has had a successful management career demonstrated by ability to build peak-performing teams and achieve cross-functional business objectives. Mike has been a valued member of senior executive teams, contributing a visionary, broad-based perspective to create pragmatic strategies and implementation plans designed for maximum return at the lowest possible costs. Mike has deep Life Science, Financial Services and Utility experience.
Mike is a Partner and Founder of Gibbons Management Group (GMG), a consulting firm that specializes in helping companies improve their project management, IT Governance, and business process. Mike is also a Global Program Manager with Dell Inc.
Prior to GMG and Dell, Mike led the IT Governance group at UBS. Mike was a Principal with CSC for 13 years specializing in program and account management and focusing on the life science and energy industries. As a Director with PR Newswire, Mike established and ran PR Newswire’s Global PMO, QA, and architecture groups and was a Partner with BDO Seidman, LLP.
Mike received his MS in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2010 and a BS in Computer Science from Seton Hall University. He is an active member of PMI and has been actively involved with the Global Sourcing Council since 2009.
Mike lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
